For over a century we've been perfecting the way cheese is made. Although best known for our award-winning cheddars, today we provide consumers and the
foodservice industry a wide variety of cheeses in all blends and sizes - from private label packs, to Kosher and Halal.


Ivanhoe Cheese is made at our federally licensed and inspected manufacturing facility located in Ivanhoe, Ontario. All facets of the company's operations are
HACCP certified and approved to produce both Kosher and Halal products.



Medium Cheddar
Our finest cheddar is aged for 4 - 6 months and brings a full rich taste to your palate. It has a moderate nip and a faint hazelnut note. This very popular cheese can be enjoyed as a snack, recipe ingredient, sandwich enhancer, on a cheese tray, or in sauces or soups.

Mild Cheddar
Aged for 1-3 months, our mild cheddar has a springy body, mild taste, and a smooth yet firm texture. It is ideal in sandwiches and for snacking - particularly for children, as their palate is more sensitive to sharp flavours. It is delicious on pizza, or melted on steamed vegetables.

Monterey Jack
This semi soft cheese has a mild, sweet and slightly nutty taste making it an ideal partner for Southwestern and Mexican dishes. It is great in a sandwich, on chili, cheeseburgers or soup.

Mozzarella
Our popular mozzarella cheese, is mild and slightly salty; its milky, buttery taste makes it one of the most well-known and loved cheeses. Originating in Southern Italy, this cheese compliments many Italian dishes such as lasagna, pizza and pasta. It is also great with other foods like hamburgers and sandwiches.

Old Cheddar
Our finest cheddar is aged for 8 - 10 months. It has a strong flavour, a dryer texture, and is slightly crumbly with a sharper, nuttier flavour. Well suited for a variety of uses, old cheddar is the perfect ingredient to add as sandwich enhancer, on a cheese tray, in sauces or soups.

Old Cheddar White

Smoked Cheddar
Our finest aged cheddar, has been smoked in a traditional European fashion using a special blend of fine hardwoods. The full, smoky flavour compliments the complex, nutty taste of the aged cheese. Perfect for entertaining occasions or try in omelettes, grilled cheese sandwiches, as a snacking cheese or add it to your cheese tray.

Swiss
Our Swiss cheese has a buttery texture with a hint of hazelnut and a slightly sweet almond flavour that your taste buds will love. It is great on sandwiches, as a snacking cheese or superb for melting in fondues, sauces and au gratin dishes.
